At Łukasiewicz – Industrial Chemistry Institute, we combine research and development expertise with GMP-compliant manufacturing. As a CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation), we not only manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) – we also develop manufacturing technologies for partners who have a molecule but need a process.
We carry out projects ranging from the gram scale up to several hundred kilograms, including the manufacture of APIs for clinical trials.
We are the responsible entity and the manufacturer of the medicinal product Biodribin® (cladribine).
We manufacture under certified GMP conditions. We also hold accreditation as a foreign manufacturer of medicinal products in Japan, as well as CEP certificates for selected APIs

Each of these substances has followed the same path: development of the synthesis method, scale-up, validation and GMP-compliant commercial production. All on a single campus.

We will develop a manufacturing process for your molecule, either for licensing, for production at our facilities, or both, under a single contract.
We are a research institute with our own production facility, so for us, technology development is a separate service rather than an add-on to production. Our laboratories, pilot-scale facilities and production reactors are all located on a single campus in Warsaw.
