GDZIE?

We have just signed agreements for investment in research infrastructure with funds from the National Reconstruction Plan (KPO). The total value of the funding is more than PLN 165 million.

Codenamed “Mościcki Campus,” the projects will include three centers: the Low Carbon Technology Development Center, the Pharmaceutical and Related Products Development Center, and the API Manufacturing Technology Center.

The projects submitted in the competition received a grant under Area A “Resilience and Competitiveness of the Economy.” Its purpose is to develop the national innovation system and strengthen the mechanisms of cooperation between science and industry.

…. And why “Mościcki Campus?” Well, the patron saint of our Institute – in addition to Ignacy Łukasiewicz, the patron saint of the entire Network – is Professor Ignacy Mościcki, Polish chemist, politician, from 1926 to 1939 the third president of the Republic of Poland. Scientist, inventor and builder of the Polish chemical industry. To this day, on the grounds of the Institute in Warsaw’s Żoliborz district stand buildings from the period of construction of the infrastructure of the Chemical Research Institute, of which Prof. Ignacy Mościcki was the first director after moving from Lviv to Warsaw in 1926, and of which our Institute is the heir (more about our history: https://ichp.lukasiewicz.gov.pl/en/history-of-industrial-chemistry-institute/

And so, paying tribute to our patron, we bring the Mościcki Campus to life.

LET’S GET STARTED!
