The Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Industrial Chemistry in Warsaw is an institute with over 100 years of tradition successfully combining experience with state-of-the-art RD solutions. We offer new technologies and products as well as process optimisation in the fields of chemistry, chemical technology and engineering, polymer technology, biomaterials, electrochemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology, dermocosmetics, medical devices and household chemistry. The Institute’s achievements include more than 2,000 patents and hundreds of original technological and apparatus developments applied on an industrial scale at home and abroad.

We offer industrial plant modelling services using the ANSYS Fluent, ChemKin and other application packages, in particular the fabrication and simulation of selected reactor models with chemical reaction and associated thermal effects.
PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTION AND SERVICES
We are a manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), as well as the responsible party and manufacturer of Biodribin® (cladribine). We are involved in development projects as a Contract Drug Manufacturer (CDMO) in the API area.

Processing studies of polyvinyl chloride
The Polymer Technology Research Group, Vinyl Polymer Section conducts research work in the field of polyvinyl chloride processing.
As of January 2024, we have state-of-the-art rheological testing equipment from Brabender.
State-of-the-art technological facilities (modernisation in 2019) ensure the highest manufacturing standards in line with EMA and FDA guidelines. The technology park enables the manufacture of solid forms of investigational medicinal products for clinical trials, including:
→ Short series for rare, orphan diseases
→ Standard series for common diseases
→ Formulations for bioequivalence studies
→ Formulations for preclinical studies
Innovative packaging products
We are pleased to introduce a newly established initiative offering a comprehensive approach to obtaining innovative packaging products.
We offer the development of biodegradable or compostable materials and a full range of tests of their properties.
The Department of Pharmaceutical Products invites you to cooperate with us. Our pharmaceutical services include.:

The Pharmaceutical Analytical LABORATORY offers testing of active substances, drug products, excipients, pharmaceutical raw materials in GMP standards and pharmacological testing, including equivalence and bioavailability testing of drug products in GLP standards.
