What do you know about powder coatings? Certainly that powder coatings do not emit VOCs, meet the criteria set for coating products by modern industry, such as environmental compliance... But... They can always be improved. This is the topic that researchers have addressed in the publication (TOP 10 Scopus) "Antimicrobial Powder Coatings Based on Environmentally Friendly Biocides," ACS Sustainable Chem. Eng. Co-authors of the paper are Michał Kędzierski, Ph.D. Sc. Eng., and Katarzyna Bieniek, M.Sc. Eng., of the Polymer Synthesis and Modification Section.

We have just signed agreements for investment in research infrastructure with funds from the National Reconstruction Plan (KPO). The total value of the funding is more than PLN 165 million.

More than PLN 20 million for Łukasiewicz - ICI from EU funds in the just concluded call FENG.01.01-IP.01-002/23 - SMART Track. The project we will be implementing is 'Development of an innovative technology for the production of a medicinal product used in the treatment of multiple sclerosis'.

The Cluster of New Medical Technologies gained new members today (18 VI 2024) - Institutes from the Łukasiewicz Research Network, including Łukasiewicz - ICI. The signing ceremony took place during the Cluster workshop 'Science - Business: Innovation in Medicine and Health'. The event was an opportunity to present solutions ready for commercialisation.
