Construction of the Mościcki Campus begins at the Łukasiewicz - Industrial Chemistry Institute. Poland is gaining a unique research and development centre on a European scale, which will consolidate the country's potential in chemistry, pharmacy and biotechnology.

We are very pleased to announce that Ewa Śmigiera, Ph.D., Eng., Director of Łukasiewicz - ICI, has been appointed as a member of the Council of the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry (PIPC). In the largest organisation, representing the entire industry on the national and international arena, she will support activities for the development of the Polish chemistry.

According to the latest edition of the Stanford University report, Prof Urszula Domańska-Zelazna is once again among the 2% most cited scientists in the world.

The Product Technology Park, Pharmacokinetics, Hydrogen and Biotechnology and Vinyl Polymer Laboratories are just some of the stops on the Łukasiewicz - ICI tour by special guest Prof. Dr. Maria Mrówczyńska, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education, who visited our Institute on July 30, 2024.

They can always be improved. This is the topic that researchers have addressed in the publication (TOP 10 Scopus) "Antimicrobial Powder Coatings Based on Environmentally Friendly Biocides," ACS Sustainable Chem. Eng. Co-authors of the paper are Michał Kędzierski, Ph.D. Sc. Eng., and Katarzyna Bieniek, M.Sc. Eng., of the Polymer Synthesis and Modification Section.
