registration under the REACH Regulation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to REACH, any substance produced or imported from outside the European Economic Area in quantities of more than 1 ton\/year must be registered with the European Chemicals Agency. June 1, 2018 marked the last registration deadline under the regulation, by which substances produced or imported in the tonnage range of 1-100 tons\/year had to be registered. At the moment, if you start manufacturing or importing substances above 1 ton\/year, you must register the substance <strong><u>before placing it on the market<\/u><\/strong>. In this case, the first step is to submit an <em>inquire<\/em> dossier to ECHA, and then after obtaining the relevant information, contact the Lead Registrant to share data, prepare and submit the registration dossier. The <strong>current format<\/strong> of the safety data sheet is set out in Commission Regulation (EU) No. 2020\/878 of June 18, 2020. As of <u><strong>December 31, 2022<\/strong><\/u>, all safety data sheets provided must comply with the new format. <\/p>\n<p>Safety data sheets must be provided in the language of the country where the product is marketed. However, safety data sheets prepared by suppliers often do not meet all the requirements of Polish law, including those concerning applicable hygiene standards. Literal translations of the original often fail to take into account legal provisions and lack verification, e.g. of the classification provided by the manufacturer.   <\/p>\n<p><strong>Remember: the safety data sheet <\/strong> is to enable the workplace to take the measures necessary to ensure safety and protect human health and the environment. On the basis of a properly drawn up safety data sheet, a label is developed to be placed on the product, which is intended to provide the consumer with comprehensive information about the potential
